Continuing our series of webinars highlighting the history and current state of women’s housing and homelessness, The Women’s Housing Forum, along with The Chartered Institute of Housing, are thrilled to be hosting a virtual panel discussion on Women, Housing Inequality and the Covid Pandemic.

Existing gender inequalities within our society have been exacerbated by the Coronavirus pandemic, including access to safe, affordable housing. Research by the National Federation of Housing in 2018 showed that there is no region in England where a woman on an average woman’s income can afford to live in privately rented accommodation. A post-Covid recession will see female dominated sectors such as hospitality and retail, hardest hit.

Hear from inspiring speakers on the important role housing can play in furthering women’s equality. Plus we'll explore how Covid 19 has impacted on women's ability to access suitable housing.

This event is a fantastic opportunity to join colleagues and people with an interest in housing and women’s equality to explore how COVID-19 has impacted women’s’ ability to access suitable housing.
