How the cost of living crisis disproportionately impacts women
Chartered Institute of Housing and Women’s Housing Forum hosted a webinar which looked at how the cost of living crisis is disproportionately impacting women, in particular domestic abuse victims and survivors.
The panel consisted of Dr Sara Reis, head of research and policy at Women’s Budget Group, who gave an overview of the gendered impact of the cost of living crisis - Ellie Butt, head of policy, public affairs and research at Refuge and Lizzy Dobres, policy and practice manager at Women’s Aid, who covered how cost of living pressures are impacting domestic abuse services and survivors.
